Clear Your Schedule With the Help of a Business Cleaning Company

Cleaning is something very few actually want to deal with. This also applies to businesses. Not many employees within a corporation want to clean when their position is not directly tied to the practice. Therefore, many of your contemporaries have hired business cleaning services for their company in Plymouth or nearby towns. All Source takes care of these needs and beyond! If you do not have a business cleaning service tidying your office you cannot know the benefits therein. Here are just a few reasons that you should consider hiring a business cleaning service today:

Health
Is there are always some sort of illness making its way through your office? How often are your people calling in sick?  The cramped corridors of your office are a breeding ground for viruses. Just one employee falling ill can set in motion an all-out epidemic that courses its way throughout all who work within your office, drastically altering the productivity of it. Bring in a business cleaning service that will effectively disinfect and remove those viruses!

Impression
Don’t let a dirty office foul up any intended new business you hope to score. If you are trying to bring in new business within an office covered in dust and grime, you risk losing that business before a handshake even goes down. Put in place a permanently spotless office by hiring a business cleaning powerhouse like All Source!

Chores
A business cleaning service will bring all of the right tools and supplies to handle any and all tasks that you want addressed. Cleaning supplies are simple in principal but the possibility of grabbing the wrong one for a particular set of cleaning jobs can do damage to office equipment and furniture.

Hassle
You run a business. You do not need to waste time of your own or that of your employees who you would rather have doing the particular jobs you hired them for, not cleaning. On some days, every single moment seems to be of dire importance. Do not add to the burden of this by placing potentially lengthy cleaning projects on them. Your office does not have to be a mess. Hiring a worthwhile business cleaning service means no one will have to stay late or show up early for the sole purpose of cleaning.

Time
Cleaning is time consuming. Small tasks often add up to a mountain of time being thefted. How much time is lost to cleaning during the workday? Don’t pay your employees to clean the office. Outsource those cleaning tasks.

Investigate a Potential Janitorial Services Company

If you want your company’s property to stay clean, the need for hiring janitorial services for your Brooklyn Park area business is essential. Every single day, everything is on the line (including your reputation). Make sure your property comes across as professional to all of your clients, customers and employees by hiring a janitorial services company. When seeking one out, there a few things you should keep in mind.

There are many things to consider when hiring a janitorial services company. When you call around seeking quotes for janitorial services, does someone always answer? If not, and you leave a message, does your call get returned? Does the company check in with you every now and then to make sure you are happy with the janitorial services they provide? What about when issues pop up? Is there a specific person to get a hold of in these situations? You will want to work with a company that responds to your calls, concerns and questions.

Janitorial services add value to your company. If you are getting cheap quotes does that mean the work will be done in a similar fashion? If the prices are high, does the same thinking apply? A good janitorial services company should be relatively inexpensive and should know what they are doing. Supplies and chemicals utilized by the janitors should also be combined with training. Many quick start office cleaning companies quickly fail because the janitors may mix a chemical or two that do not go well together, damaging floors and the like. Be sure the janitorial services company you seek has qualified and trained employees.

You also want to look into their current clientele. If you run an office, you are not likely to hire a janitorial services company that specializes in the cleaning of fire halls or restaurants. Seek out a company that does a lot of cleaning work in a business of your sort.

Be wary of the company who claims to clean everything or is vague in response. Most janitorial services companies will, without hesitation, be able to quickly rattle off the types of businesses they clean and specialize in. Most are specialists of a certain type of facility: malls, restaurants, offices, etc.

It is preferable, in hiring a janitorial services company, to find a company that will send the same workers out to your facility each time. You will want your janitor to be familiar with the subtleties and specifics of your company. You do not want to be in the position of having to tell a new janitor every time where things are located, what needs extra attention and where your supplies are found. Consistency goes a long way.

Reduce Allergens and Germs With the Help of A Commercial Cleaning Company

Your office may look all shiny and clean but just below the surface may just be hordes of allergens and germs. With spring come allergies, with germs come sickness—both of which can yield call-outs by employees to your business. If you do not want to do the cleaning yourself or have it done by members of your staff, consider commercial cleaning with Allsource!

In a 2012 study, Kimberly-Clark Professional, manufacturer of brands like Kleenex, Scott, Huggies among others, conducted “one of the most detailed and comprehensive studies conducted on identifying workplace hotspots where germs can lurk.” Some 5,000 swabs were accumulated from several buildings that contained more than 3,000 employees.

Serving as a national rule of thumb, the areas with the highest levels of contamination were:
•        Break room sink faucet handles
•        Keyboards
•        Microwave door handles
•        Refrigerator door handles
•        Vending machine buttons
•        Water fountain buttons

Common high contamination areas of note include computer mice, desk phones, office furniture, reception areas, ATMs, stair railings, copy stations, door handles, elevator buttons and conference tables.
So how are you going to decrease the germs in your office? Try taking these simple steps to address the allergen and germ hotspots:

•        Identify, understand why problem areas for germs are problem areas—Identify surfaces that endure the largest amounts of human amount. This will allow you and your employees to use higher standards of hygienic excellence to ensure sickness does not spread throughout the business.
•        Wash, wipe, sanitize—One would hope that the era we find ourselves in alone would add up to employees using obvious and uniform sanitation standards. This, as evidence has shown, is not always the case.  Wash your hands before leaving the bathroom, coughing and/or sneezing, handling doorknobs that many people use—any situation that would enhance the chances of germ travel. Wipe clean all surfaces after you have finished using them. Keep a steady supply of hand sanitizer on hand, at your desk as well as other public areas to eliminate germ transmission.
•        Educate and communicate—Inform your employees of the obvious. Educate workers on the power of allergens and germs, how they get passed around. Stress just how serious an issue it is, communicating that the reduction of allergens and germs creates a healthier working environment.
•        Hire a professional—There is the very real possibility that the type of company you own or manage does not allow for the time for individual workers to adopt very high levels of allergen and germ prevention. Should this be the case, consider hiring a professional
commercial cleaning company like All Source Building Services & Supply Co. Let us get rid of the allergens and germs while you worry about getting the job done.

Winter Office Cleaning Tips

Winter is here, and with it comes several chores that you will have to take care of in and around your office. That is, if you don't already have a professional officecleaning service at your Bloomington commercial property! So here are a few suggestions on what to make sure gets done on a regular basis.

For one thing, you want to be sure your office cleaning To Do List includes your carpets and hard surface floors. De-icers, ice, snow, dirt and mud can cause a wide variety of problems with your floors, and your floors will take on a gray and dull hue if you do not have them cleaned on a regular basis. They should be scrubbed or vacuumed at least once a day.

You should also be sure that your office's windows are cleaned on a regular basis. Clean windows allow more natural light to come through, and natural light is proven to help increase your employee's productivity and to help their overall demeanor. Natural light also helps dry up wet floors or carpeting too, and that could also help with your office cleaning service's efforts.

A professional office cleaning company could also help you make sure your commercial property's roof and gutters are clear. Backed up gutters could cause your roof to leak, and you should always keep an eye out for ice dams. This is when ice forms in your gutters and causes water to back up onto your roof. This could also lead to a problem with roof leaks.

Finally, an office cleaning service like ours can come out on a daily basis and make sure all surfaces are completely disinfected. This is especially helpful this time of year during cold and flu season, and it could help mitigate the spread of germs and bacteria. You, your employees and your clients might end up suffering fewer colds and bouts of the flu if you have the surfaces in your office disinfected on a regular basis.

These are just a few reasons you should be sure to have your commercial property properly cleaned by a professional office cleaning service like ours. Call us and we'll tell you even more!

If you would like more information on office cleaning in Bloomington or the surrounding areas, call All Source Building Services and Supply Co. at 952-473-3228, or you can contact us to get a Free Estimate.

Getting Your Office Ready for Winter

Today is the first day of fall, so now is the time to start thinking about what you need to do to get your office and commercial property ready for winter. As an officecleaning company serving Burnsville and the surrounding areas, we can help with your day to day office cleaning needs. And we have a few suggestions on how to winterize your property.

The first thing you should do is walk around outside of your office building. Look at all of your outdoor lights to make sure they don’t need any repairs before the nights get longer and the days get shorter. Try to do this during the evening hours so you can see if any light bulbs are burnt out. You should make sure they are replaced as soon as possible.

Then you should look at any outdoor water spigots or faucets. Make sure the water for them is turned off to help avoid freezing pipes this winter. Frozen pipes can burst, and that can lead to a ton of problems, like flooding, mold and similar issues. While our office cleaning company can help with any emergency restoration issues you encounter, this is a problem best avoided when possible!

You should also check on your office’s heating system and test it to make sure it works. You don’t want to turn it on for the first time when it’s cold out, only to discover it is not working! If you find out it is blowing out cold air or none at all, call an HVAC company as soon as possible. They tend to book up quickly this time of year, so the sooner you call, the better.

Finally, make sure your office has plenty of salt, sand and other de-icing materials. Make sure there is a shovel readily available for any of your employees that might need it. Along the same lines, make sure to lay down rugs in front of any outside doors leading into your office. That will help keep your floors and carpets clean as people are walking in and out. Our office cleaning service can come to your office on a regular basis and keep your floors clean, but these rugs are a great way to prevent a big mess in between our visits.

How to Power Wash like a Pro

Power washing is a great way to thoroughly clean exterior walls, concrete, sidewalks and other surfaces that are exposed to the outdoor elements. This is one of the many tasks our commercialcleaning services near Minneapolis can help you with. And we also thought we would share some of our favorite how-to tips on getting the most out of your power washing.

Be sure to test your power washer first, especially if you have never used it before. Start by standing several feet from the surface you are trying to clean. Take the wand and slowly move it back and forth and side to side a few times and then switch the power washer off. Go up to the surface and take a look and see how clean the surface is. If it is still dirty, move a foot or so closer and then try again. This is a great way to see just how strong the power washer is without risking any damage to the surface you’re trying to get clean.

Then make sure you have a set plan or To Do List of what you are trying to clean. You shouldn’t just start power washing at random because you could end up missing spots or creating far more work for yourself than necessary. Planning also means you can account for smaller objects or features that might be on the surfaces you are trying to clean. Be sure to remove anything that could get broken in advance so you don’t accidentally do any damage.

Finally, if you are using any kind of soap or cleaning chemical in your power washer, make sure you thoroughly rinse the surface before the soap or cleaning chemical dries. Sometimes if the soap dries on that surface, it can cause it to become discolored. And be sure to test your soap or cleaning chemical on a small and inconspicuous surface before you use it on the rest of the surface. That way if there are any problems with the chemical, you will know before you apply it everywhere else.

For more suggestions on power washing, you should call our professional cleaning services. We can take care of this task for you so you don’t have to worry about it!

Caring for Trees this Summer

As a businesscleaning service near Minnetonka that also specializes in tree care, we have helped plenty of businesses and commercial properties look their best. And some of the most important aspects of your business’ or property’s aesthetics are the trees, plants and landscaping. So we thought we would take the time to go over some of the most basic tree care tasks and, that way, you can make sure your business always looks its best.

Do a visual inspection of all of the trees on your property first. Are you seeing any signs of disease? Are you seeing any broken branches or trees that need to be trimmed back a bit? Our business cleaning service can help with these aspects of tree care, so call us if you figure out you need further assistance. Professionals like us have the tools and know-how needed to properly trim, cut and care for trees and other plant life.

Make sure that any new trees you plant are at least 10 feet away from your building. Root systems can get quite large and extensive, so being sure trees are planted that far from your property can help prevent other problems later on down the road, like roots growing into sewage pipes or causing your building’s foundation to crack and crumble.

If severe weather hits your area, make sure you inspect the trees on your commercial property as soon as possible. If you see any storm damage, call in professionals for assistance. A business cleaning service like All Source Building Services & Supply Co. can help with any restoration or clean up efforts. And make sure that you call your local electric company and stay clear of the area if you notice that any trees have fallen on power lines.

For more information on our business cleaning near Minnetonka, call All Source Building Services & Supply Co. at 952-473-3228, or you can contact us and get a Free Estimate.
