Whether your facility never closed, plans to open again soon or won't open for months, it is important to be aware of recommended safety precautions to take. One of these precautions includes proper disinfectant. Are you aware of what those include? Here at All Source, we are the trusted commercial cleaning company for the Twin Cities and we take cleaning seriously. There is still much to learn about the novel coronavirus but one thing that’s known is disinfecting is an important step in the prevention process. That is why, now more than ever, we would like to help educate our clients on the importance of proper disinfecting and cleaning.
Defining Disinfectant
Disinfecting refers to using chemicals to kill germs on surfaces. By disinfecting a surface after cleaning, one can further lower the risk of spreading infection.
How it Works
Disinfectants work by destroying the cell wall of microbes or interfering with their metabolism. Sanitizers are substances that simultaneously clean and disinfect. Disinfectants kill more germs than sanitizers.
Why it’s Recommended
According to the CDC, “Transmission of coronavirus occurs much more commonly through respiratory droplets than through fomites. Current evidence suggests that SARS-CoV-2 may remain viable for hours to days on surfaces made from a variety of materials. Cleaning of visibly dirty surfaces followed by disinfection is a best practice measure for prevention of COVID-19 and other viral respiratory illnesses in households and community settings.” The CDC also recommends “Community members practice routine cleaning of frequently touched surfaces (for example: tables, doorknobs, light switches, handles, desks, toilets, faucets, sinks, and electronics.”
What All Source Offers in Disinfectant
Here at All Source we use Betco Quat Stat 5 as our choice for disinfecting. Quat Stat 5 is a hospital disinfectant with just 5 minutes contact time. We also have enhanced nightly janitorial services with both the disinfecting product as well as a heightened awareness of high-touch surfaces. We focus on high-touch surfaces such as door handles, handrails, restrooms, conference rooms, drinking fountains, light switches, coffee stations, lunchrooms, service areas, copy machines, etc.

Flu & Allergy Season Prep: Tips for a Cleaner, Dust-Free Office
Viruses, dust and allergens can bring
absentees to your business. Now that it is the end of summer, fall will soon be
here bringing with it new allergens, flu bugs and more. How often do members of
your team get sick? Whether it’s just allergies or a flu bug, germs and
allergens can wreak havoc on your productivity. Consider commercial cleaning for your Minnetonka business and help keep your office clean and healthy. It is important
that you create a rigorous schedule of dust and germ prevention to keep your
air fresh and pure, your surfaces clean and your showroom or office ready for
employees and customers.
All Source Building Services and Supply
is a commercial cleaning company that can handle virtually every single aspect
of upkeep that your company requires. Our cleaning service can keep your office
spotless and clean.
We’ve put together a list of some of the
most important cleaning tasks to tackle in order to keep your business dust and
germ free all season long. And, if you’d like our commercial cleaning company
to take care of any of these, please give us a call and let us know how we can
help!
Wipe & Sanitize
Clean and wipe surfaces after you have finished using them. Keep a steady supply of hand sanitizer on hand, at your desk as well as other public areas to eliminate germ transmission. Wash your hands before leaving the bathroom, coughing and/or sneezing, handling doorknobs that many people use.
Dusting
This old stand-by is essential to keeping the office dust-free. But, not just any dusting will do. Make sure dusting is thorough and is not simply moving dust around. Microfiber cloths are designed to help trap dust. Use on virtually all surfaces within the business.
Mopping
A thorough mopping after vacuuming will help grab any dust or grime missed.
Vacuuming
It is recommended to vacuum at least twice a week to reduce dust in
your home or business. Make sure it is equipped with a high-efficiency
particulate air filter to ensure its focus is on dust. And, the filter must be
changed frequently to ensure dust does not go back into the air. A professional
commercial cleaning company like All Source knows the right way to vacuum for
dust-grabbing results.
Cushion & Rug Cleaning
Do this
monthly. Be sure to do this outside. Use a broom or similar until you no longer
see particles leaving the item.
Don’t have the time for some of these? Consider hiring a professional commercial cleaning company like All Source Building
Services & Supply Co. Let us get rid of the
allergens and germs while you worry about getting the job done. Could your
Minnetonka business use commercial cleaning? Give us a call at 952-473-3228 or Contact Us.

Commercial Cleaning Company: How to Choose the Best
As a commercialcleaning company serving Plymouth MN, we know how challenging it can be to
choose the best cleaning company for your business’ needs. So here are a few
suggestions from us on what to look for and how to tell if the cleaning company
you are considering is right for you.
First things first. The commercial cleaning company should
be fully licensed and bonded within the state it works in. The cleaning company
should be regulated, and it should be fully covered legally in case anything
comes up. For example, if one of their workers gets injured on the job at your
business, you want to make sure you will not be held liable for that person’s
injuries.
You should begin your search for a commercial cleaning
company by asking colleagues and friends for recommendations on cleaning
companies. Word of mouth is a great way to find these types of services. And
nowadays, you can also read reviews online, so you can see what type of
experiences other people have had with that commercial cleaning company. And
thanks to the anonymity of the Internet, you will generally get honest reviews
of the cleaning service.
As you are doing your research, you should also be sure that
the services the commercial cleaning company offers match what you need out of
your cleaning company. Don’t be afraid to ask questions about the services and
exactly what they entail and what you can expect.
When you contact a commercial cleaning company (or several),
be sure you get written estimates on the services they are offering. You should
read through all of the estimates and compare them: costs and services
performed. From there, you should be able to reach a decision about which
commercial cleaning company to hire. Again, don’t hesitate to ask questions if
the estimate is unclear or if you are unsure of whether or not a certain
service is covered.
Of course, you can bypass all of this if you contact All
Source Building Service & Supply Co.! We are your one-stop shop for all of
your commercial cleaning needs.

Why a Commercial Cleaning Company Can Help You
There is much to be said for a well-maintained office environment. After all, when guests come into your place of business and see neat work areas, find clean restrooms, and, if applicable, a clean reception area, they are more at ease than if they were to walk into an office with everything in disarray, unkempt restrooms and an uninviting reception room. However, if you are a business owner, chances are, you don’t always have the time to devote emptying the trash, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning the restrooms and reception room. Sure, you know it is important, but you can’t run your business if you have to take time out to “clean house.” Thankfully, there is an alternative — hiring a commercial cleaning company.
If you have never considered hiring an Apple Valley commercial cleaning company, then take a moment to ask yourself “Why not?” If you were concerned about the quality if the cleaning, the trustworthiness of the employees, or the type of cleaning agents used, then you are not alone. However, a commercial cleaning company with an established reputation will be able to answer these concerns, and many others, with ease.
For instance, did you know that a reputable commercial cleaning company will ensure that you can trust the people who come into your office? They will do this by doing background checks on their workers, and then will have liability, provide worker’s compensation, licensing and bonding, as they recognize that businesses are leery of handing over the office to outsiders. If the commercial cleaning company you are considering does not do these things, then you would be wise to continue on your search.
Well-established commercial cleaning companies have also taken the time to train their employees to meet their standards of cleaning. Many of these companies have specific routines that they use when cleaning. They may use cleaning agents of their own, or if you prefer, will use cleaning products of your choosing. As you talk to a potential cleaning company, you may also want to ask if they offer green cleaning solutions.
Yet another advantage of hiring a commercial cleaning company to keep your office facility in great shape, is that they will typically be responsible restocking any supplies — toilet paper, hand towels, Kleenex in the office area, etc. so you can take that job off of your responsibility list, too.
These are just some of the common reasons that businesses choose to hire a commercial cleaning company, but you may have others. So if you are looking for a way to give you more hours to focus on business, then a commercial cleaning company is just the thing!

Office cleaning means no rushing around
Have you ever had one of “those days”? You know the kind. You get up late, get stuck in traffic, and then, when you finally get to the office you have a client meeting in half an hour and the people who are supposed to clean the office haven’t had picked up from the meeting yesterday! Ugh! Nothing makes for a stressful day like feeling as though all you are doing is trying to prevent something else from happening. Then, when you have to stop to clean the bathroom(s) and dust the blinds, it just seems to add insult to injury.
But what if there were a way around this? No more time spent rushing around trying to get the office clean for that important meeting. After all, you need to be making the final preparations for your client, not washing the mirrors, making sure there are paper towels and vacuuming the floors! All of these activities take time, and as a business owner, you are fully aware that time is money-and who has that to waste?
Hiring an office cleaning service like All Source is just the answer to your business cleaning woes. By letting someone else take care of the cleaning, you make the most of your time in the office. No more vacuuming, dusting or replacing paper products! A office cleaning company will not only take care of this for you, but can actually save you money on the cost of the supplies.
Not only will you no longer need to buy the supplies, but All Source will also provide the cleaning agents as well. This way, you can focus on your business and let us take care of letting you shine. You may even be able to clean out that storage closet where cleaning agents and related supplies are stored, which means you would have more space for storing the things you really need.
Having an office cleaning company to take care of the look of your business will free you up to work on those things that matter most for your business. Don’t be one of those people who have to spend time everyday cleaning the office. Hire a professional Minneapolis office cleaning company to do it for you. You will be glad you did!

Business Cleaning Service Frees Up Your Time To Run Your Own Business
Many business owners and managers are recognizing that it can make more sense to hire a professional business cleaning firm than it would to try to do it in-house. A dedicated company will have all of the heavy duty equipment and specialized product knowledge that is required to properly clean your facility. They will also have a staff that is trained to know what products are available and which ones are most appropriate for each task.
A qualified business cleaning company will have personnel that are not only trained in cleaning, but who have been trained in the safety considerations that are necessary in their business. Their employees would have had a background check and they will be insured and bonded.
You should know that some business cleaning firms have expanded their portfolio of services to include building maintenance functions such as electrical, plumbing, painting and other services as well. Now you can have one source for all of your facilities maintenance needs. You can just monitor the overall service that they provide, while they attend to the routine details of their business. You won’t have to divert your own business resources to the cleaning and maintenance of your business facility.
Maintaining a clean facility is important for the health and safety of your employees, and this translates to higher morale and productivity. A clean office also creates a positive impression with your customers when they visit. If your place of business is messy, that message will be consciously or unconsciously transferred to your entire operation. It would be much better for your clients to identify you with a neat and clean operation. They will feel that you are concerned with doing things right.
With a dedicated cleaning firm caring for your facility, your valuable time will be freed up to devote to managing your own business.

Benefits of Having Your Floor Clean
One of the dirtiest areas of an office is the one that people use every day, but it's not one that gets a lot of thought. After all, it may not necessarily be where the work is done, and though you'd have a hard time getting around without it, it's easy to forget it's there. We're talking about the floor -- the place where every employee's shoes come down and leave traces of where they've been previously, whether that's in the grass, in the mud, on top of a wad of chewed gum, and many other places.
When you think about the sheer amount of dirt and bacteria you must walk through every day, it's scary to think about what could potentially be on your floor that you don't know about or can't see. That's why it's important to have the floors in your office cleaned on a regular basis. A full-service cleaning company, like All Source, can help you keep every part of your office clean -- even the floors. When your floors are well taken care of, you present less opportunities for dirt to get tracked around to other areas of your office, and you also can cut down on the number of germs that spread.
Interested in learning more about how our Minneapolis commercial cleaning service can help you keep your floor clean? Make a call to us today at (952) 473-3228 for a FREE cleaning estimate.

A Clean Office Means Better Work
Think about when you're at home in a messy room. Is it easy to get things accomplished in that room, or are you somewhat distracted by the mess that surrounds you? If you answered the latter, you're not alone. Many feel like their minds are preoccupied when they're in a dirty or disorganized location, and they may even feel some anxiety. This doesn't just extend to the home -- it can also apply to workers in an office.
This is why it's important to have a workplace that is constantly cleaned and organized. When workers have a clean space, they can have a clean mind, and they're better able to focus on the tasks at hand. You could have a dedicated employee who takes care of the cleaning duties on a regular basis, but keep in mind, that employee is not a trained cleaner, and could potentially miss some very important areas that should be cleaned. They could also find the extra task distracting to their primary dutie in your office. That's why it's best to hire an outside cleaning company.
Are you ready to whip your office into shape and improve the efficiency and focus of your employees? Get in touch with Minneapolis commercial cleaning company All Source today at (952) 473-3228.

Beware of Scam Commercial Cleaning Services
Unfortunately, like many other industries, the commercial
cleaning services one is that has many unscrupulous companies out there who
want to do nothing but bilk customers.
These scams do nothing but harm our profession, and give a
black eye to the companies who want to try and provide a professional Minneapolis commercial cleaning service.
Luckily, there are things one can do to spot a scam.
- Check if they're insured
- See if they're registered with your state as a corporation, LLC, etc.
- Ask if they're bonded
Are they missing these? Then be wary of hiring them. Do some
research on the company before giving them your business, and find out if they
give what they promise, or do they leave customers with nothing?

Keeping Your Desk Clean
Clean off your desk. The best way to start a desk reorganization process is to completely clear your desk off. Seeing the desk’s surface for the first time in months or years can be a soothing experience for some, and provide you with the motivation needed to continue on with the task.
Add shelves. Take advantage of the vertical space at the back of your desk by adding some shelves. This can help you keep some items off of your desk and in their own dedicated places.
Prioritize. Look at the items you had on your desk and select a few that you use on a regular basis. The rest should not be stored on your desk, but instead in another location.
These are just a few steps you can take to keep your workspace clean and organized. If you’re looking to keep your entire office just as clean, consider giving a Minneapolis commercial cleaning company like All Source a call. We can be reached at (952) 473-3228.

Commercial Plumbing Issues
If keeping a full-time plumber on staff seems a bit unnecessary for your business, it's still a good idea to contract with a building services company. They'll be able to help you out in other areas, and also provide plumbing support should things go awry.
All Source is one such company that Twin Cities businesses have trusted for years. We believe that keeping a company like ours at the ready can not only save you time, but can also save you money in terms of the quality of work and the total amount of damage done. A number of different plumbing issues can occur, and if you're not prepared, you could end up suffering a lot of expensive damage as a result.
For instance, a simple toilet clog could render a toilet unusable, especially if no one is qualified to fix it. A pipe burst can flood a bathroom and cause serious damage, including leaks to lower floors. If the pipe bursts inside the wall, a lot of damage can occur before anyone even realizes that something's happened. The list could go on and on in terms of plumbing issues your building could experience, and if you don't have experienced plumbers ready to fix things, you could wind up spending a lot of money.
Get in touch with All Source today to learn more about the plumbing services we provide. You can call (952) 473-3228, or complete our free Twin Cities plumbing estimate form online.

Spring Cleaning & Power Washing
Spring cleaning doesn't just have to be for homeowners. Commercial building owners and property managers in the Twin Cities region can also take the opportunity of the new season to clean the inside and outside of their locations. A great way to clean the outside of a building, both the building's exterior as well as any pavement and walkway areas, is by power washing.
What's a power washer? This tool, also called a pressure washer, projects a stream of highly-pressurized water out onto a surface, dislodging and washing away the dirt and grime. Power washers are great for cleaning buildings with siding, brick, stone, or concrete exteriors. Power washers are also useful for cleaning sidewalks and patios.
All Source provides power washing services, in addition to its many other services. Interested in doing a little bit of exterior spring cleaning on your commercial property? Give All Source a call today at (952) 473-3228.

You Need a Window Cleaning Service: Here's Why
For many Twin Cities businesses, the hiring of full-time maintenance and janitorial staff members isn't financially feasible. Unfortunately, that doesn't stop the dirt from making its way in, or the messes from forming. It also doesn't keep windows from becoming dirty, and clean windows not only let some much-needed sunlight into your office, they also put off a good first-impression to anyone visiting. That's why it's important to keep them clean.
With window cleaning, you also have to factor in employee safety. You don't to task an employee with the dangerous job of cleaning windows from the outside; especially if that employee is not a window cleaning professional. The middle ground -- the one that allows you to pay only for the services you need and gives you access to professionals in the field -- is to go with a building services company like All Source.
By contracting with All Source, you'll have professional window cleaners handling your window cleanings on a regular basis. If you just want window cleaning, that's all you have to pay for. But All Source is a one stop shop for a variety of different services, which means you can bundle window cleaning with other services, like carpet cleaning or janitorial services.

Odors in the Office Fridge
It happens from time to time. Someone in the office forgets about their leftovers for way too long and, before you know it, there's a wicked smell coming from the office refrigerator. So how can you get rid of the unwanted odors and get back to opening the fridge door without fear? Here are a few tips.
...a full cleaning. Remove everything from the fridge and clean the inside with a general purpose cleaner. Take a sniff after a few days to see if the smell is gone. If not, there's one last major step you can take.
Completely remove everything from the fridge, with the intent of keeping it out for approximately seven to ten days. Lightly spray water onto crumpled up newspaper, and fill the refrigerator up with these balls entirely. Close the door. Each day, replace the newspaper with brand-new newspaper that has been crumpled up and misted with water. After a week of this, your odors should be gone from the fridge.

Why Outsource Your Janitorial Service?
While some companies choose to do their own janitorial hiring, many decide instead to outsource that work to a firm with an expertise in that field. You may be wondering, What is the benefit to outsourcing our janitorial needs? There are several!

- Cost. Hiring a company like All Source to handle janitorial duties in your building or office can be much more cost effective than having extra employees on your books.
- Other specialties. Employees you hire to perform janitorial work may not be skilled in other areas, too. All Source, for instance, provides a number of different services in addition to office cleaning, such as plumbing repair, electrical service, power washing, painting, and more.
- Clean work environment. You'll enjoy a clean office that creates a good, positive impression on those who work for you and those who stop in for business. Germs will also be cleaned up more frequently, which means employee-spread illnesses should decline.
